What you need to know before making your claim
Home improvement works must be carried out by a TrustMark registered or MCS certified business or tradesperson and be from our list of eligible home improvements. TrustMark are a government-endorsed quality assurance scheme covering home improvements in or around the home. Find out more through the TrustMark website.
MCS is an independent organisation that sets standards for low-carbon products and installations used to produce energy from renewable sources. Find out more through the MCS website.
Your invoice must include the date, your name, address of the mortgaged property, name of the TrustMark registered or MCS certified business or tradesperson, home improvements made and amount paid.
You must have a mortgage with us at the time of claim.
We’ll pay the reward into the account you use for your mortgage Direct Debit. If you don’t have a Direct Debit, you can set one up in Online Banking.
You can only receive one Greener Home Reward (or one between you if you’ve got a joint mortgage), and it must be for the residential property where you permanently live. You can’t make a second claim for any additional properties or home improvements.
